Aebly Jory is a "living miracle" for the people of Cleveland, Ohio. This 26 year old was shot in the head during an assault, doctors evicted when he arrived at the hospital but survived and was discharged. His amazing healing has been linked to the intercession of Servant of God John Paul II.
the night of 21 February, Jory and his friend Jeremy Pechanec suffered an assault in downtown Cleveland. The attackers were shot in the head execution style. Jeremy
Jory died and came alive at Metro Health hospital, but doctors warned the family that his wound was mortal and had no chance to survive. The bullet entered the brain behind the left ear and lodged in the right hemisphere, leaving behind bone and missile fragments.
To Dr. Robert Geertman, the neurosurgeon who treated Jory, his case is "very miraculous" because the bullet passed through the two lobes of the brain and its gradual improvement found it incredible.
The boy was discharged on March 31 with a press conference in which he thanked the prayers of everyone. Now receives outpatient rehabilitation therapy, walking, talking and hopes to get his job soon.
The connection between the young, the incredible recovery and the late Pope John Paul II, made the hospital chaplain, Father Art Snedeker, who gave Jory the last of a dozen rosaries blessed by the Pope had in his possession.
"Pope John Paul II promised that I would always pray for the patients in the Metro and a dozen rosaries blessed for patients here," Snedeker said Father in the press conference. "The night we arrived Jory, I administered the sacrament of the anointing of the sick, and asked the Pope John Paul II to pray and protect him," recalled the priest and said the case of this young man is a miracle.
According to several local media, the documentation on this case could reach the Vatican and incorporated into the cause of beatification of the late pontiff.
